Highlights from Five Little Stones

Outdoor Education Center

Five Little Stones received a grant, from an anonymous donor, through the Lagrange County Community Foundation. This grant money was used to create an outdoor education center. Raised flower beds were completed in the spring of 2023. In May, the children purchased flowers and vegetables and planted them in our outdoor education center. The raised beds were cared for throughout the summer. When the children returned to school in August, they were able to reap what they sowed. Each child filled a bag with peppers and cherry tomatoes to share with their family!

A greenhouse was added beside the raised beds last fall. Our goal for the outdoor education center is to provide more opportunities for the children to learn life skills.

Leadership Academy in Elkhart
Team Rolling Stones, from the Leadership Academy in Elkhart, has blessed Five Little Stones in a big way! We are one of the fortunate nonprofits chosen for an amazing opportunity! In October 2020, we shared about Five Little Stones and presented our wishlist with the Leadership Academy. Team Rolling Stones loved our story and wanted to help make our wishes come true. The team has spent the last several months raising funds to pave our parking lot and complete the renovation to our kitchen.

We can't begin to thank Daniela, Michael, Jeremy, Virginia, Michelle, and Brett for the countless hours they have dedicated to Five Little Stones. Team Rolling Stones ROCKS!!!
